The minor faction is described in-game by the system description text, "The home system for the Communist Interstellar Union. It is a faction that believes that all assets and means of production should be communally owned. It also asserts that each member is equal, that they should contribute according to their ability and receive support according to their need. The union was fomed with the aim of protecting and uniting communist peoples."
